2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, registering for a programme, attending a session, or otherwise using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol in our programmes or submit personal data through our website. By proceeding, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

If you are using the website or enquiring on behalf of another individual, you warrant that you have their authority to do so and that their information will only be submitted with their knowledge and consent.

3. Service Description

Mantap Academy provides financial education programmes in Malaysia, delivered in small group settings. Our current programmes are the EPF & KWSP Optimization Briefing, the Property & Mortgage Awareness programme, and the Integrated Financial Life Planning programme.

All programmes are educational in nature. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, insurance products, or any regulated financial service. Educators at Mantap Academy are education professionals — not licensed financial advisers. Nothing communicated during a programme should be treated as personalised financial advice.

Important: Programme content is intended to improve participants' financial knowledge and decision-making capacity. It does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Participants should consult a licensed professional for advice specific to their circumstances.

We reserve the right to modify programme content, session structure, and delivery format as part of our ongoing curriculum development. Material changes that significantly affect the scope of an enrolled programme will be communicated to affected participants in advance.

4. Enrolment & Attendance

Enrolment Process

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment (or agreed deposit) and written confirmation from Mantap Academy. Submitting an enquiry form does not constitute enrolment or reserve a place in a programme.

Programme Scheduling

Session dates and times will be communicated upon enrolment confirmation. We make reasonable efforts to maintain the agreed schedule. Where a session must be rescheduled due to circumstances affecting the Academy, participants will be notified with at least 72 hours' notice where possible, and alternative dates will be offered.

Attendance

Participants are expected to attend all sessions of the programme they have enrolled in. Where a participant misses a session for a legitimate reason, we will make reasonable efforts to provide relevant materials from that session. Missed sessions do not entitle participants to a fee reduction or additional make-up sessions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cohort Size

Our programmes are delivered in small groups. We reserve the right to adjust cohort size to maintain programme quality. If minimum enrolment is not reached for a scheduled intake, we may reschedule the programme and will inform registered participants promptly.

5. Payment Terms

Fees

Programme fees are as published on our website at the time of enrolment. All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payment Methods

We accept payment by bank transfer, online banking, and other methods communicated at the time of enrolment. Payment details will be provided in your enrolment confirmation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the programme start date: Full refund less a 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellation 7–14 days before the programme start date: 50% refund of the programme fee.
  • Cancellation fewer than 7 days before the programme start date: No refund. A credit towards a future intake may be considered at the Academy's discretion.
  • Non-attendance without prior notice: No refund or credit.

If Mantap Academy cancels a programme, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of any fees paid. We will not be liable for any other costs incurred in connection with the cancelled programme (e.g., travel, accommodation).

To request a cancellation, please contact us at [email protected] with your enrolment reference and the reason for cancellation.

6. User Responsibilities

By attending our programmes or using our website, you agree to:

  • Treat fellow participants and Academy staff with courtesy and respect throughout all sessions.
  • Provide accurate information during the enrolment process and notify us promptly of any changes.
  • Refrain from recording, photographing, or otherwise capturing programme sessions without the prior written consent of Mantap Academy and the relevant participants.
  • Not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Academy materials without written permission.
  • Use the Academy's website lawfully and not attempt to disrupt its operation or access areas not intended for public viewing.
  • Not misrepresent your connection to or endorsement by Mantap Academy in any public forum.

7. Intellectual Property

All programme content, materials, curriculum structures, worksheets, toolkits, and website content produced by Mantap Academy are the intellectual property of Mantap Academy and are protected under Malaysian copyright law.

Upon enrolment and full payment, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials provided as part of your programme for your own personal financial education purposes only. This licence does not permit:

  • Reproduction or redistribution of materials, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
  • Sharing programme materials with individuals who have not enrolled in the programme.
  • Use of materials in training, consulting, or advisory work.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share with us about improving our programmes may be incorporated into our curriculum without obligation to you.

8. Disclaimers

Our programmes are provided on an "as is" basis for educational purposes. We make no representation that the content of any programme will be applicable to your specific financial circumstances, or that applying information from our programmes will produce any particular financial outcome.

We do not warrant that our website will be available at all times without interruption, or that it will be free from technical errors. We will endeavour to address any significant disruptions promptly.

External resources, links, or references cited during programmes are provided for informational purposes only. We do not endorse the content of linked external websites or guarantee their accuracy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Mantap Academy's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with a programme or the use of this website shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the programme in question.

We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, investment losses, or financial decisions made on the basis of programme content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Force Majeure

We shall not be in breach of these Terms or liable for any failure to perform our obligations if such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, government directives, or infrastructure failures. We will notify you promptly of such circumstances and discuss alternative arrangements.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme, without refund, where their conduct is disruptive to the learning environment of other participants, where they are found to have provided materially false information during enrolment, or where they breach these Terms in a material way.

In such cases, we will notify you of the reason for removal. Where possible, we will provide an opportunity to address the concern before taking action.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination of this Agreement.

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation in our programmes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Before initiating any formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to discuss your concern. We aim to resolve disputes informally within 30 days of receiving written notice of a complaint.

If informal resolution is not achieved, the parties may agree to refer the dispute to a mediator before pursuing court proceedings.

12. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any programme-specific enrolment terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mantap Academy regarding your participation in our programmes.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
  • Waiver: Failure by us to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in future.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights to a successor entity in the event of a restructure or transfer of our operations.
  • Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or by post to our registered address.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For material changes affecting enrolled participants, we will provide direct notice by email where we hold your contact details.

Continued use of our website or participation in our programmes after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
